Rooted in Avon, CT for over 75 years, Miller Foods, Inc. has always been more than a fourth-generation, family-owned poultry and pet food business, it has always been about community. For decades, our family has quietly given food and time to our neighbors. This nonprofit is simply the natural next step in that legacy. What started as a local Thanksgiving tradition has grown into a year-round, statewide effort. Alongside partners like Connecticut Foodshare and Healing Meals, we are working everyday to ensure no family goes without a meal.

CONSECUTIVE THANKSGIVINGS
OUR PAST INITIATIVES
Since 2020, our shared efforts have helped provide more than 300,000 meals to families across Connecticut. Every year, our mission feels more urgent, and our commitment to helping our neighbors grows stronger.
2023
In 2023, we provided over 100,000 meals through direct turkey donations to our local food access programs.
2024
In 2024, we donated turkeys to provide meals to families across all 169 towns of Connecticut feeding more than 25,000.
2025
Last year in 2025, we celebrated 75 years on our family farm, Miller Farms. Through food and fundraising, we were able to provide nearly 75,000 meals.
2026
This Thanksgiving season in 2026, we are committed to placing 50,000 meals on the tables of those who need them most. Through direct food donations to local access initiatives such as Healing Meals and CT Foodshare, we aim to make a meaningful impact in our community.
